Management Accountant

We are excited to be representing a well-established IT and Technology company based in Salford, North West, in their search for a dedicated Permanent Management Accountant. This role is perfect for someone with a solid background in management accounting, especially within the technology sector. Assist in preparing consolidated Group Management Accounts and Board Reports for stakeholders inside and outside the business. You’ll help paint the full financial picture

Prepare detailed management reports to support decision-making across departments.

Oversee and improve forecasting models to ensure accuracy and timely updates.

Lead the budgeting process, collaborating with department heads to align financial goals.

Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, highlighting variances and recommending corrective actions.

Analyse financial data to identify trends and inform strategic planning.

Coordinate with external auditors and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policies.

Assist in the development and implementation of financial controls and procedures.

Support senior management with ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required.

Proven experience as a Management Accountant, preferably within the IT or Technology sector.

Strong background in financial forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis.

Excellent analytical and organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.

Advanced proficiency in financial software and Excel.

Ability to communicate complex financial information effectively to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.

A proactive attitude, driven to provide insights and proactive solutions.

Qualification such as CIMA, ACCA or equivalent would be advantageous.
