An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Production Manager to join a successful and growing food manufacturing business during an exciting period of expansion. This role offers the chance to lead high-performing yeams, shape production processes and make a real impact within a fast-moving environment.
Key responsibilities:
Lead and oversee production activities to achieve targets across output, quality and cost
Ensure a robust food safety and compliance culture
Manage and develop production teams, providing coaching, feedback and ongoing support
Work closely with Operations Manager to maintain smooth coordination between departments
Implement and champion continuous improvement initiatives, reducing waste and enhancing efficiency
Use KPIs such as OEE, yield, and downtime to identify improvement opportunities
Maintain accurate production data and prepare reports for senior leadership
About you:
Experience as a Production Manager or senior production leader in food manufacturing
Solid working knowledge of HACCP, BRC and food safety regulations
Strong communication, leadership and team development skills
Ability to problem solve and remain calm under pressure
A continuous improvement mindset with a track record of delivering results
Comfortable working with data, KPIs and ERP / production systems
