Details:
Location: Southampton
Hybrid: 2-3 days in office
Rate: £(Apply online only) p/d (umbrella)
Contract: 3 months with potential to extend
Responsibilities:
Process high volumes of financial transactions accurately and consistently in line with agreed SLAs
Investigate and challenge discrepancies, ensuring compliance with financial policies and statutory requirements
Maintain, monitor, and support the continuous improvement of financial processes, controls, and procedures
Support change initiatives focused on improving finance systems, operational performance, and service delivery
Build effective working relationships across the business and provide guidance on financial policies and information
Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting cycles, helping to inform financial planning and decision-making
Requirements:
Proven experience processing financial transactions within a high-volume finance environment
Strong understanding of financial controls, statutory requirements, and audit processes
Ability to work independently, prioritise workloads effectively, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills with experience identifying root causes and recommending solutions
