The successful candidate will be joining a Year 4 class with a high proportion of SEND needs, therefore recent experience working within Year 4 or Key Stage 2 is essential. The school is looking for a teacher who is confident in adapting lessons, supporting a range of additional needs, and creating an inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.
The Role
* Full teaching responsibilities within a Year 4 class
* Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to pupils’ individual needs
* Support pupils with SEND and adapt learning accordingly
* Create a positive, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
* Work collaboratively with support staff, SENCO, and school leadership
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Recent experience teaching within Year 4 or KS2
* Strong understanding of SEND and inclusive classroom practice
* Ability to adapt teaching strategies to support varying needs
* Positive classroom management skills and a flexible approach
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
