How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Salary: Dependent on experience, with award‑winning benefits package.

Function: Learning Solutions & Apprenticeships – Commercial

Tack TMI, part of Gi Group Holding, is a leading provider of learning solutions and apprenticeships that help organisations transform performance and culture. We’re now looking for a Head of Sales to lead the commercial growth of Tack TMI UK across our courses, coaching and apprenticeship portfolio.

This is a senior leadership position, combining strategic commercial direction with visible, hands‑on sales leadership.

As Head of Sales, you will:

Set and execute the UK sales strategy for Tack TMI across courses, coaching and apprenticeships, aligned to Tack TMI and Gi Group Holding objectives.

Lead, develop and performance‑manage the UK sales team, creating a high‑performing, accountable and collaborative sales culture.

Personally own and grow a portfolio of strategic accounts, leading complex bids and high‑value opportunities, including multi‑brand deals.

Shape scalable, profitable sales models, working closely with the Senior Director – Tack TMI UK, Group Sales and other Gi Group Holding brands.

Partner with the Marketing Director and Marketing team to align sales with marketing and digital campaigns, optimising lead generation and demand.

You’ll have overall accountability for Tack TMI UK sales performance across all commercial learning and apprenticeship solutions.

    Key responsibilities:

    Commercial and sales strategy

Co‑create the UK commercial strategy for courses, coaching and apprenticeships, including market positioning, segmentation and growth priorities.

Translate strategy into clear sales plans, go‑to‑market approaches and team/individual targets.

Define and refine the sales model (structure, roles, territories, account allocation) to maximise market penetration and efficiency.

Provide market, competitor and customer insight to influence product roadmap, pricing and proposition design

    Sales leadership and Team management

Lead, motivate and inspire the sales team, building a high‑performance, accountable culture.

Identify capability gaps and implement development plans (coaching, training, mentoring, recruitment).

Ensure succession planning and bench strength for key roles.

    Sales delivery and strategic accounts

Hold an individual sales target focused on strategic accounts and complex, multi‑brand opportunities.

Oversee team pipelines to ensure sufficient coverage and realistic conversion.

Drive effective opportunity qualification, deal governance and pricing discipline to protect and grow margin.

    Client and market development

Personally lead relationships with key decision‑makers and influencers in priority and strategic accounts.

Sponsor major bids and complex deals, shaping solution strategy, commercial structure and negotiation approach.

Direct the team to systematically identify and penetrate target segments, sectors and accounts, including new logos.

Proactively develop international, multi‑country and multi‑business opportunities with Group Sales and international teams.

    What we’re looking for

Significant experience (typically 7+ years) selling solutions and services in the Training & Development and/or Apprenticeships sector.

Proven track record in a senior sales leadership role, owning P&L‑relevant targets and leading a multi‑product or multi‑segment sales team.

Demonstrable success in developing and executing sales strategies that deliver sustained revenue and margin growth.

Experience working in a multi‑brand or matrix environment, collaborating across business lines.

    Skills and competencies

    Strong commercial and financial acumen

Advanced people leadership, coaching and performance management skills.

Deep understanding of Training & Development and Apprenticeships markets and client buying behaviours.

Excellent communication, influencing, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.

Results‑driven, resilient and comfortable working under pressure and to ambitious targets.

Proactive, innovative and able to drive change and continuous improvement within the sales function.

Why join Tack TMI & Gi Group Holding?

Lead the commercial agenda for a high‑impact, growing business in a global group.

Work with a portfolio that spans learning solutions, coaching and apprenticeships, with strong cross‑brand opportunities.

Collaborate with expert Solution Designers, Trainers/SMEs, Apprenticeship specialists, Marketing and Group Sales to shape integrated client solutions.

Be part of an organisation committed to developing people, culture and performance – for our clients and for our own teams
