How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Primary PE Teacher

    Hayes, Hillingdon
    Full-Time | September 2026 Start | Long-Term
    Part-Time Considered for the Right Candidate

    A well-established 3-form entry primary school in Hayes is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Primary PE Teacher to join their team from September 2026 on a long-term basis.

    This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher with a genuine passion for PE, school sport, and promoting healthy lifestyles across the primary phase. The role will involve delivering PE lessons across KS1 and KS2, while also playing a key role in wider sporting opportunities throughout the school year.

    The school may also consider a strong candidate looking for a part-time position.

    The Role

    The successful candidate will:

    Deliver engaging PE lessons across KS1 and KS2

    Adapt lessons to support pupils of varying abilities and needs
    Organise and support school sporting events, including sports days and competitions
    Help contribute to the wider PE curriculum and enrichment opportunities
    Maintain high expectations for behaviour, participation, and safety
    Work collaboratively with teachers and senior leaders across the schoolThe role may also involve additional responsibilities linked to PE coordination and whole-school sport, depending on experience.

    The Ideal Candidate

    The school is looking for someone who:

    Holds UK QTS or has strong experience teaching PE within primary schools
    Has experience delivering PE across KS1 and KS2
    Brings energy, organisation, and enthusiasm to lessons
    Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff
    Has strong behaviour management skills
    Is confident organising sporting events and promoting participation
    Works well as part of a wider school teamThis role would suit a PE specialist teacher, experienced primary teacher with a PE background, or a confident sports educator with relevant school experience.
