Tradewind Recruitment are excited to be working with this Client, a vibrant and ambitious secondary school based in Tower Hamlets, who are seeking a talented and creative Art Teacher to join their successful Creative Arts department from September. This is a full-time Permanent / Fixed Term opportunity offering a salary on the London MPS/UPS scale, with interviews to be arranged immediately.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring Art lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5 depending on experience. The school is seeking an enthusiastic practitioner who can inspire creativity and a passion for the arts among students.

The role will include:
Planning and delivering high-quality Art lessons that engage and challenge students
Creating a creative and inclusive classroom environment
Assessing, monitoring, and tracking student progress effectively
Encouraging creativity, experimentation, and independent thinking
Supporting students of all abilities to achieve their full potential
Contributing to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities within the department
Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, engagement, and achievement
Participating fully in departmental and whole-school initiatives

The ideal candidate will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have a relevant degree in Art or a related subject
Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and a passion for creative arts
Have experience teaching Art at secondary level
Be committed to delivering outstanding teaching and learning
Possess excellent classroom management and communication skills
Be passionate about supporting student achievement and wellbeing
Work effectively as part of a collaborative and supportive team
