CDM Recruitment are currently working with a well-established engineering manufacturer who are looking to add an experienced Fabricator Welder to their growing workforce.
This is a fantastic long-term opportunity to join a busy and supportive workshop environment producing bespoke engineered products and machinery. The company has a strong reputation for staff retention and offers a stable working environment with permanent day shift hours. The site itself has recently undergone renovation to offer top tier on-site staff facilities.
The Role
* Fabrication and welding from patented engineering drawings
* Working on bespoke and small-batch production work
* Involvement in assembly and manufacturing processes
* Working independently and within a small, skilled team
Experience Required
* MIG welding
* Fabrication of mild and stainless steel
* Experience working with a range of material thicknesses
* Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
* Experience with structural and heavy-duty fabrication advantageous
* Working on complex, multi-stage fabrications
