How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Junior IT Project Manager
    Location: Home-based (with occasional travel as required)
    Hours: 37.5 per week
    About the Role
    We’re looking for a motivated and organised Junior IT Project Manager to join our growing Digital and Transformation team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in project management, gaining hands-on experience across a variety of IT and business change projects.
    Working closely with experienced Project Managers and senior stakeholders, you’ll play a key role in coordinating and delivering projects that make a real impact across the organisation. From planning and tracking progress to supporting stakeholders and ensuring successful delivery, you’ll be involved throughout the full project lifecycle.
    What You’ll Be Doing
    Supporting the planning, scheduling and delivery of IT projects
    Coordinating communication between internal teams, stakeholders and external suppliers
    Maintaining project documentation, timelines, and risk logs
    Tracking progress against milestones and reporting on project status
    Assisting with governance processes from business case through to delivery
    Monitoring risks and escalating issues where required
    Supporting the delivery of projects on time, within scope and budget
    Managing project tools such as Jira, MS Project or similar
    Taking on increasing responsibility as your skills developAbout You
    We’re looking for someone who is highly organised, proactive, and passionate about building a career in project management.
    You’ll also bring:
    Strong organisational and time management skills
    Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
    A basic understanding of project management principles
    Experience using Microsoft Office and project tools
    A collaborative, team-focused approach
    A keen interest in developing your career in IT project managementDesirable

    Previous experience in a project support or coordination role
    Exposure to project management methodologies (e.g. Agile, PRINCE2)
