An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Manufacturing Operator to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing business operating within the aerospace and defence sector. The company specialises in the development of high-precision, mission-critical systems and is known for delivering innovative solutions to customers worldwide.
This role will sit within the manufacturing function and will involve the assembly, wiring, testing and production of highly sensitive electronic and mechanical components used within aerospace and defence applications.
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Assembling high-precision electronic and mechanical components
• Wiring, crimping and soldering products using engineering drawings
• Using hand tools and specialist equipment to build assemblies
• Carrying out inspections and testing to ensure quality standards are met
• Completing manufacturing and traceability documentation accurately
Must Have:
• Experience within a manufacturing or assembly environment
• Ability to read engineering drawings and follow technical instructions
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
Nice to Have:
• Soldering, wiring or crimping experience
• Aerospace, defence or electronics industry experience
• Knowledge of IPC620 standards
