We are recruiting for a GBS & BPO Programme Manager to join our client, a Technology company. This permanent opportunity is offering an excellent day rate of, employed via an Umbrella company.
About the role:
We are seeking an experienced Program Lead to drive end-to-end Global Business Services (GBS) / Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) programs across multiple business functions. This role will be responsible for leading large-scale transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with business priorities, and delivering operational excellence through strong governance, stakeholder engagement, and program execution.
Key responsibilities include;
Lead and deliver end-to-end GBS/BPO programs across functions such as Finance, Procurement, and others
Establish and maintain robust program governance, including reporting frameworks and stakeholder updates
Manage risks, issues, and dependencies across the full program lifecycle, ensuring timely mitigation and resolution
Oversee knowledge transfer and migration activities as part of transition and transformation initiatives
Engage and influence senior stakeholders (e.g., Finance Leadership Team, Functional Leads) to ensure alignment and buy-in
Align GBS/BPO service delivery with strategic business priorities and transformation objectives
Handle program escalations, ensuring effective resolution within agreed timelines
Drive clear and consistent communication across internal teams, external partners, and vendors
Ensure delivery excellence while maintaining focus on continuous improvement and value realisation
About you:
Proven experience in program and project management, delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives
Deep understanding of GBS/shared services and BPO operating models
Strong vendor management capabilities with solid commercial acumen
Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills
Demonstrated ability in problem-solving and decision-making in complex environments
Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and reporting skills
Experience in change management and transformation leadership
Familiarity with transition, migration, or knowledge transfer programs
Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, global environment
Additional Information:
Location: London, with some travel to Slough
Duration: 12 months with options for permanent
