How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Inside Sales Account Manager – DACH

    £35,000 - £40,000

    Staines

    Hybrid

    9am - 5pm, Monday - Friday

    Candidates must be fluent in speaking and writing in German. Visa sponsorship opportunity, subject to Visa and Immigration regulations.

    My client is recruiting for a fluent speaking Inside Sales Account Manager for the DACH region, the ideal candidate will have experience in Sales or Account Management in Technology/IT or similar but open to other industry backgrounds in Sales.

    You will support sales activity, manage and maintain strong customer relationships, and ensure high levels of satisfaction across distribution and assembler clients within assigned territories. You will help grow existing accounts by supporting Business Development Managers, carry out customer reviews, and contribute ideas to improve business processes and procedures.

    Responsibilities

    Proactively manage and grow business within assigned territories through effective account management, with occasional support for additional regions as required.

    Handle customer accounts end-to-end, including preparing quotations, negotiating pricing, processing orders, and coordinating delivery timelines based on stock availability, production capacity, and shipping schedules.

    Liaise with internal departments such as Logistics, Warehouse, Marketing, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable to ensure smooth order fulfilment and service delivery.

    Maintain regular, professional communication with customers to secure orders, provide product information, and deliver a high level of customer support.

    Forecast customer requirements and develop forward-planning strategies to meet evolving business needs.

    Provide consistent support to Business Development Managers, ensuring field activity is aligned with customer expectations and business objectives.

    Monitor and manage inventory levels using forecasts and reorder points (ROPs) to maintain appropriate stock availability.

    Work closely with the RMA department to investigate and resolve product return queries and issues.

    Attend customer visits and trade exhibitions as required.

    Carry out additional duties as needed to support business operations.

    Experience

    Fluent English and German spoken and written to business level.

    Experience in sales / account management

    GCSEs Maths and English

    Degree level educated (or equivalent)

    Previous IT product-related knowledge is desirable but not essential.

    Strong communication and organisational skills, proactive, with excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines
