How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Our client is an established and growing drylining contractor delivering residential schemes across London and the South East. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Designer with experience working with recognised drylining systems such as British Gypsum, Siniat or Knauf.

    This is a fully remote role, suited to someone capable of managing technical detailing and coordinating drylining design packages independently.

    Responsibilities:

    Producing detailed drylining and interior system drawings for residential developments
    Preparing technical design details for partitions, ceilings, shaftwall, fire protection and SFS interfaces
    Working with systems including British Gypsum, Siniat and Knauf
    Coordinating design information with architects, consultants, site teams and subcontractors
    Reviewing architectural drawings and specifications to ensure buildability and compliance
    Producing setting out drawings, sections, construction details and as-built information
    Supporting pre-construction and operational teams with technical queries and design solutions
    Assisting with fire, acoustic and performance-related detailing in line with project requirements
    Managing drawing revisions and maintaining accurate technical documentation throughout project delivery

    Requirements:

    Previous experience working for a drylining, interiors or interior systems contractor
    Strong understanding of drylining systems and manufacturers such as British Gypsum, Siniat or Knauf
    Experience delivering residential projects
    Ability to produce detailed technical drawings and construction details
    Good understanding of fire stopping, acoustic and partition interfaces
    Proficient with AutoCAD
    Ability to work independently within a remote environment
    Strong communication and coordination skills
