How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    KS2 Teacher – Full-Time Maternity Cover

    Oldbury

    Start Date: September 2026 | Until July 2027

    is currently recruiting for an experienced and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teacher to join a well-established primary school in Oldbury for a full-time maternity cover role starting in September 2026.

The role is expected to continue until July 2027, with the possibility of extension depending on the school’s needs.

    About the Role

    As the KS2 Teacher, you will:

    Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
    Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where children can thrive
    Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing effective feedback and support
    Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of all learners
    Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure consistency and continuity for pupils
    Maintain excellent classroom behaviour and promote a love of learning

    ✅ What We’re Looking For

    We are seeking a teacher who:

    Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
    Has recent experience teaching within Key Stage 2
    Demonstrates strong classroom management and communication skills
    Is passionate about helping children achieve their full potential
    Is adaptable, proactive, and confident in a temporary role
    Can commit to the full duration of the maternity cover
