📅 Temporary Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for a Site Engineer to join a leading Sub contractor on a major construction and refurbishment project based in Saunderton. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineer to join a busy project team on a long-term temporary assignment with an immediate start available.
The successful candidate will support the delivery team with setting out, quality assurance, technical coordination, and day-to-day engineering duties across the project. Experience working on construction, refurbishment, infrastructure, or civil engineering projects would be highly beneficial.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carrying out setting out and surveying duties on site
* Ensuring works are completed in line with drawings and specifications
* Assisting with QA processes and maintaining accurate site records
* Supporting subcontractor coordination and site activities
* Reviewing technical drawings and resolving engineering queries
* Monitoring progress and reporting issues to senior management
* Maintaining health & safety standards across site operations
* Assisting with permits, inspections, and documentation
Requirements:
* Previous experience working as a Site Engineer
* Strong setting out and technical engineering experience
* Experience within construction, refurbishment, or infrastructure sectors
* CSCS card essential
* SMSTS or SSSTS advantageous
* Competent using surveying equipment and reading technical drawings
* Strong communication and organisational skills
