Salary: £55,000 per annum
Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off (Days Only)
Hours: 7:00am – 7:00pm
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Shift Engineer to join a leading building services provider at a prestigious commercial site in the City of London. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified engineer looking for a stable days-only shift role with strong earning potential, training opportunities, and genuine career progression.
Key Responsibilities
* Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on electrical systems
* Fault finding and repair of electrical plant and associated building services equipment
* Working on LV systems, lighting, emergency lighting, UPS, generators, AHUs, FCUs, and BMS systems
* Ensuring all statutory compliance and health & safety procedures are followed
* Supporting subcontractors and specialist service providers on site
* Completing maintenance records and reports accurately using CAFM systems
* Providing excellent client-facing service at all times
Requirements
* City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
* 18th Edition qualified
* Experience working within commercial building maintenance environments
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
* Good communication and client-facing abilities
* HV/AP qualifications beneficial but not essential
