Role: Repair Technician
Location: Cardington
Contract Type – Permanent, Full time
Working Hours and Days: Monday - Thursday 08:00 – 17:00, Friday 08:30 – 16:00 (38.5 hours per week)
Salary - £27,000 to £33,000 (based on skill level and experience) plus monthly incentive bonus paid against site targets

We are looking for a skilled and detail-focused Repair Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and testing a wide range of electronic devices to manufacturer standards. Your work will play a vital role in ensuring devices are restored to excellent working condition, helping us deliver exceptional service to our customers while supporting our sustainability goals.
Duties & Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair a variety of electronic devices including smartphones, tablets, laptops and desktops
Carry out component replacements and repairs, including screens, batteries, connectors and circuit-level faults
Perform thorough testing and quality assurance checks to ensure devices meet company standards
Accurately document repairs completed, including parts used and repair processes followed
Maintain stock accuracy and support inventory management of parts and replacement components
Follow all health, safety and environmental procedures to maintain a safe working environment
Keep up to date with the latest repair techniques, technology trends and manufacturer guidance
Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve operational targets and deliver excellent customer outcomesAbout You
Proven experience carrying out third-line electronic device repairs in a professional environment
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with the ability to work independently
Confident repairing a wide range of electronic devices and operating systems to manufacturer standards
Excellent attention to detail with a passion for quality and continuous improvement
