Shillito Group are recruiting on behalf of a long established industrial and logistics business for a reliable and organised Weighbridge Operator to join their busy site operations team.
This is a hands on role within a fast paced environment where accuracy, communication and attention to detail are key. You'll be responsible for managing vehicle movements across site, operating the weighbridge system and ensuring all inbound and outbound loads are processed correctly.
The Role
Operating the weighbridge system for incoming and outgoing vehicles
Recording and processing vehicle weights accurately
Producing weighbridge tickets and delivery documentation
Liaising with drivers, transport teams and site personnel
Monitoring vehicle movements and maintaining site flow
Completing general administrative and data entry duties
Ensuring compliance with site procedures and health & safety standards
Supporting wider site operations where requiredWhat We're Looking For
Previous weighbridge, transport, logistics or industrial admin experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Confident using computer systems and data entry software
Good communication skills and the ability to deal with drivers and contractors professionally
Able to work in a busy operational environment
