How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    We are working with a beautiful luxury hotel in Leicester, renowned for its elegant setting, exceptional service and outstanding wedding offering. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-quality property that is truly invested in career progression, development and nurturing future talent within the hospitality industry.

    Key Responsibilities:

    You will support the coordination and delivery of weddings from the initial enquiry through to the big day, ensuring every detail is handled with care. You will work closely with couples to understand their vision and assist in bringing it to life, creating memorable and seamless experiences.

    You will assist with show rounds and respond to wedding enquiries, playing a key role in the guest journey from the very first interaction. Working alongside multiple departments across the hotel, you will help ensure all events are well-organised and delivered to the highest standard.

    You will maintain accurate event records and support with the administrative side of wedding planning, while also being present on wedding days to assist with delivery and ensure everything runs smoothly. You will build strong relationships with clients, suppliers and internal teams, and support with wedding showcases, open days and promotional activities.

    What We’re Looking For:

    • Previous UK hotel Wedding & Events experience is essential.
    • A genuine passion for weddings and events.
    • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
    • A confident and friendly communicator.
    • Willingness to learn and develop within a fast-paced environment.
    • A proactive, hands-on approach with a positive attitude.
    • Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest experience.
    • Ability to work as part of a team and support multiple priorities.
