How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Marketing Executive

    Location: Sudbury, Suffolk
    Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 per year
    Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
    Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
    Working Pattern: Office-based

    About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and ideas-driven Marketing Executive to support and deliver a wide range of marketing, media, PR, and sales support activity.

This is not a role where you will simply maintain existing marketing activity. We are looking for someone who enjoys getting involved, taking ownership, bringing ideas forward, and helping turn those ideas into practical campaigns and materials.

You will work closely with the Managing Director, sales team, and external marketing, media, and website partners to help promote the business, support lead generation, improve brand visibility, and provide the sales team with the tools they need to convert opportunities.

This is a varied, hands-on role covering digital marketing, print marketing, PR, social media, PPC, events, sales collateral, brochures, catalogues, and product launches.

    Key Responsibilities

    As Marketing Executive, you will:

    * Coordinate marketing campaigns across digital, print, PR, and media channels

    * Support PR activity, including press releases, media outreach, and brand exposure opportunities

    * Work with external media, website, and marketing partners to keep projects moving

    * Support and help improve PPC activity and paid advertising campaigns

    * Manage marketing deadlines, adverts, publications, and campaign schedules

    * Work closely with the Managing Director and sales team to align marketing activity with sales objectives

    * Create, update, and supply sales materials, marketing tools, and customer-facing collateral

    * Keep brochures, catalogues, and printed materials up to date, reprinted, and restocked

    * Support the launch and promotion of new products with clear messaging and relevant sales materials

    * Help prepare for and attend roadshows, county fairs, exhibitions, and promotional events

    * Support brand visibility, customer engagement, and lead generation at events

    * Coordinate social media campaigns and influencer activity alongside external media support

    * Identify new ways to generate leads, support conversions, and improve customer engagement

    * Bring forward practical ideas to improve marketing performance, PR reach, and sales support

    What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who is organised, commercially aware, and confident working across a broad marketing mix.

    You should have:

    * Previous experience in a marketing, digital marketing, media, communications, or sales support role

    * Confidence working across social media, PPC, PR, print marketing, and campaign coordination

    * Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once

    * A proactive approach, with the confidence to bring forward ideas and improvements

    * Good written communication skills, including the ability to support marketing copy, press releases, and sales materials

    * Commercial awareness and an understanding of how marketing supports sales and lead generation

    * Confidence working with internal teams, external agencies, suppliers, and stakeholders

    * The ability to manage deadlines and take ownership of tasks

    * A hands-on attitude and willingness to get involved across a wide range of marketing activity

Experience with websites, paid search, email marketing, CRM systems, design tools, events, or product marketing would be useful, but a proactive attitude and strong organisation skills are just as important.

    Why Join?

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants more ownership and variety in their marketing role.

    You will have:

    * Direct input into marketing ideas and activity

    * A varied role across digital, print, PR, events, and sales support

    * The opportunity to make visible improvements

    * Close working relationships with senior decision-makers

    * A practical, hands-on environment where ideas are welcomed

    * The chance to support lead generation, brand visibility, and business growth
