How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Business Development Manager.

    * Business Development Manager, BDM, Sales Manager, Sales Executive or similar.

    * Working for a market-leading technology provider that supplier digital and hardware solutions across the Hospitality & Retail sectors. Helping some of the UK’s best-known brands improve customer experience, speed of service and sales performance.

    * Role created due to growth, excellent long-term prospects within the business in a market that is performing really well. Identified this area as a crucial growth point for the business, has already grown over 15% naturally, but now needs a dedicated professional to get the full potential from the market.

    * Depending on experience level - £55,000 - £60,000 + £5K Car Allowance + Commission scheme (Another £10-15K approximately)

    This Business Development Manager job will suit:

    * A New Business Development Manager, BDM, Sales Manager, Sales Executive or similar that focusses on outbound customer engagement.

    * You will be working within the Digital signage market selling into large scale retail and hospitality clients.

    * Comfortable in selling off the shelf, digital signage rather than building bespoke proposals. Able to prospect, build a pipeline, run client meetings and close out new business.

    * You will be backed an supported by a highly successful technology support team, in a business that has grown significantly and forecasting a continued upward trajectory – it’s a great time to be joining the business.

    * Proactive, high levels of communication and a driven character will be highly successful in this role.

    * Experience working within the ‘QSR@ space, restaurant technology such as EPOS, self-order kiosks, or digital menu systems or a background in restaurant operations, area management or deployment projects will be useful.
