How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    About the Company

    Our client is a long-established, independent provider of vending, hot drinks and refreshment solutions, supporting businesses and organisations across the UK. They are recognised for their reliability, service quality and tailored solutions, ranging from traditional vending machines to modern micro-markets and barista-style coffee offerings.

    The business is customer-focused, service-driven and commercially minded, with a strong commitment to sustainability, innovation and long-term client relationships.

    Why This Role Stands Out

    The environment is fast-paced, creative and entrepreneurial. As an independent business, they have the freedom to set their own direction, make decisions quickly and continually raise the bar on customer service while driving strong commercial performance.

    You will be supported day-to-day by two Sales Directors with over 50 years’ combined experience in the sector, who are genuinely committed to mentoring, developing and investing in your career. As your confidence and capability grow, you will gain real autonomy, increased responsibility and the opportunity to genuinely shape your success and earnings.

    The Role

    They are seeking a Business Development & Sales Support Executive to play a key role in generating new opportunities, supporting the sales function and strengthening relationships with both new and existing customers.

    This is a varied, hands-on role combining outbound lead generation, CRM administration, sales support activity and external engagement. Working closely with the Sales Director, the successful candidate will help maximise appointment opportunities, identify cross-sell and upsell potential, and support the wider sales process from first contact through to proposal stage.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Lead Generation & Appointment Setting

    * CRM Management

    * Sales & Business Support

    * External Engagement

    Skills & Experience

    * Previous experience in B2B telemarketing, business development or sales support.

    * Clear, confident and professional communication style.

    * Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

    * Comfortable using CRM systems (training provided).

    * Confident attending meetings and networking events.

    * Strong written communication skills for follow-ups, quotes and tenders.

    Interested?

    This role would suit someone who enjoys building relationships, speaking with people and being part of a growing, ambitious business where your contribution genuinely makes a difference.

    Whether you already have experience in sales support/business development or are looking to develop a long-term career in a commercially focused environment, we would be keen to speak with you.
