The Role
Our client is seeking a driven and motivated Recruitment Consultant to join their busy construction desk, focusing on blue collar roles including labourers, groundworkers, tradespeople, and site staff.
This is a fast-paced, sales-driven position combining business development, candidate sourcing, and account management.
Key Responsibilities
* Sourcing and placing blue collar construction workers into temporary and permanent roles
* Developing new business through outbound calls, client visits, and networking
* Managing and growing existing client relationships
* Writing job adverts, screening, and interviewing candidates
* Filling vacancies efficiently to meet client requirements
* Building strong relationships with both clients and candidates
* Managing bookings, compliance, and worker availability
* Meeting and exceeding weekly and monthly targets
Requirements
* Minimum 2 years’ experience within the construction sector (essential)
* Previous recruitment or sales experience (highly advantageous)
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Motivated, resilient, and ambitious
* Full UK driving licence preferred
