Position: Graduate Design Engineer  
Location: Evesham, Worcestershire
Job Type: Permanent / Onsite

My client, a specialist assembly and manufacturing business are on the hunt for an tenacious Manager to join the team!

Role and Responsibilities – Graduate Design Engineer
In this role, the Junior Design Engineer will take ownership of drawing/BOM updates, change pack creation, data hygiene, documentation and provide structured support to New Product Development and NPI Activities.

Other responsibilities include:

Produce and update 3D models and 2D drawings to company standards
Create and maintain BOM structures (new assemblies and sustaining updates)
Track actions and ensure engineering documentation is complete before release
Draft first versions of work instructions, test report shells, assembly notes, supplier pack cover sheets and other engineering documents
Experience or Qualifications – Graduate Design Engineer

Degree/HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering (or similar)
Experience with CAD (SolidWorks/Inventor/Creo or similar) and producing production drawings
Familiarity with BOMs/ERP concepts (beneficial, not essential)
Any exposure to manufacturing processes (welding, assembly, machining etc..)
