How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Learning and Development Business Partner ( Education )

    Essential experience of working in learning and development in the education sector.

    To join our dedicated Talent and Development team.This is a key role supporting our care and support, and education divisions – helping to build staff capability, promote progression, and ensure training compliance across our diverse workforce.

    What You'll Be Doing

    Partnering with managers across care, education, and therapy teams to identify and respond to learning needs
    Supporting induction, mandatory training, and ongoing professional development initiatives
    Administering our Learning Management System (LMS) – managing training records, bookings, and reporting
    Coordinating apprenticeship programmes and liaising with external training providers
    Designing and delivering engaging learning content and workshops
    Evaluating training impact and contributing to compliance audits and internal reporting

    What We’re Looking For

    Experience in a learning and development role – ideally in health, care, or education
    Strong organizational and admin skills, including LMS experience
    Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
    Understanding of apprenticeship pathways and professional development routes
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort working in a digital-first environment
    A collaborative, proactive mindset with a genuine passion for helping others grow

    Desirable (But Not Essential)

    CIPD Level 5 or working towards
    Knowledge of Ofsted frameworks
    Experience supporting apprenticeship levy-funded training
