How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Drive Change. Shape Performance. Influence a Global Supply Chain.

A rare opportunity has arisen to join a world-renowned engineering and manufacturing organisation whose products are trusted globally in some of the most demanding environments imaginable. With decades of innovation, exceptional financial stability, and a reputation built on precision engineering and operational excellence, this business continues to invest heavily in its people, technology, and future growth. Their products are recognised worldwide, their standards are industry-leading and their commitment to continuous improvement sits at the heart of everything they do.

They are now seeking an experienced Continuous Improvement Manager to lead transformational improvement activity across sourcing and supply chain operations at a key UK manufacturing site.

This is a high-impact role where you will influence operational performance, lead strategic improvement initiatives, and help shape the future of supply chain excellence within a highly regulated, complex manufacturing environment.

    The Opportunity

Reporting into the Operational Excellence function, you'll take ownership of continuous improvement strategy and delivery across sourcing and supply chain operations, driving measurable gains in efficiency, performance, quality, and process capability.

You'll work cross-functionally with senior stakeholders, lead Lean initiatives, embed best practice, and develop a culture of sustainable improvement throughout the business.

    Key Responsibilities

Lead and deliver continuous improvement initiatives across sourcing and supply chain functions
Identify operational inefficiencies and improvement opportunities through data analysis and process review
Facilitate Lean workshops, strategic reviews, and cross-functional improvement projects
Embed standardised, audit-ready processes supporting operational and regulatory requirements
Drive KPI reporting, benefits realisation, and performance tracking across CI activities
Champion Lean methodologies and continuous improvement culture across the organisation
Coach and develop CI capability within the team and wider business
Support best-practice use of SAP and sourcing systems to improve decision-making and data quality
Engage with senior leadership to align improvement activity with strategic business objectives

    What We're Looking For

Proven experience within Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, or Lean-focused roles
A track record of delivering measurable business improvement projects
Experience working within manufacturing, engineering, sourcing, or supply chain environments
Strong understanding of Lean methodologies and structured problem-solving tools
Confidence analysing operational data and presenting meaningful business insights
Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing stakeholders at multiple levels
Lean / Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or above advantageous)
Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP
Aerospace, defence, automotive, or other highly regulated manufacturing experience would be highly beneficial

    Why Join?

Join a globally recognised engineering organisation with an outstanding reputation
Long-term stability and significant investment in operational excellence
Work on genuinely meaningful, high-profile engineering programmes
Opportunity to influence strategic supply chain performance at scale
Strong career development pathways within a major international business
Collaborative culture focused on innovation, quality, and continuous improvement

If you're passionate about driving operational excellence and want to make a visible impact within a world-class manufacturing environment, we'd love to hear from you
