The Opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager with strong Mechanical knowledge to join a major project based in Blackwall, London.
This position is with a well-established contractor delivering complex works within the data centre sector, offering the opportunity to work on high-value, technically demanding projects within critical environments.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will take responsibility for overseeing project delivery within a live data centre environment, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest technical standards.
This role requires a Project Manager with proven experience delivering large-scale data centre packages and coordinating multidisciplinary teams within mission-critical environments.
Essential Experience
Candidates must have demonstrable experience in:

Large-scale data suite fit-outs
*
Structured cabling and fibre network installations
*
End-to-end project delivery within live or critical environments
*
Managing complex electrical packages with a strong understanding of mechanical interfaces
Key Responsibilities
*
Manage project delivery from pre-construction through to handover
*
Coordinate electrical and mechanical installation activities
*
Oversee subcontractors, specialist vendors, and site teams
*
Ensure delivery in line with programme, budget, and technical specifications
*
Maintain strict health & safety and compliance standards within live environments
*
Manage commissioning, QA processes, and client reporting
*
Liaise closely with stakeholders, consultants, and internal delivery teams
Requirements
*
Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager within the data centre sector
*
Strong understanding of both electrical and mechanical building services
*
Experience working within live or mission-critical environments
*
Excellent coordination, programme, and stakeholder management skills
Candidates without relevant large-scale data centre experience will not be considered.
