How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Process Experimentalist

    As a Process Experimentalist, you will provide vital experimental and technical support for both new and existing processes and products. Your expertise will play a critical role in enhancing manufacturing processes, ensuring that products meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

    Key Responsibilities:

    HSE Compliance: Uphold health, safety, and environmental standards as an integral part of your work.
    Experimental Design: Prepare and conduct laboratory experimental programs to assess powder handling properties and particle characteristics.
    Reporting: Generate comprehensive reports, summaries, and presentations to communicate project progress to stakeholders.
    Innovation Contribution: Engage in the development of inventions and other intellectual assets that drive our projects forward.

    What We're Looking For:
    To thrive in this role, you should possess a blend of scientific expertise and a collaborative spirit. Here are some key qualifications:

    Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in a physical science discipline or chemical/process engineering (e.g., Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Physics).
    Lab Experience: Familiarity with physical property measurement techniques (e.g., melting point determination, spectroscopy) and physical characterization methods (e.g., particle size analysis, microscopy).
    Curiosity and Willingness to Learn: A strong interest in particle science and laboratory experimentation.
    Team Player: Excellent communication and teamwork skills to foster a collaborative environment.

    Desirable Attributes:

    Experience with automation of experimental or data analysis processes.
    Awareness of challenges faced in an industrial environment.
    Understanding of HSE procedures and process safety in a laboratory setting.
