Location: Baldock
Hours: Monday to Friday – 6:00am–2:00pm
Salary: Up to £14.00 per hour, increasing after 12 weeks
OA are currently recruiting for a Machine Operator to join a busy and growing manufacturing company in Baldock. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous experience operating laser cutting, grinding, and polishing machinery who is looking for long-term work and career progression.
Main Duties of a Machine Operator
• Operating machines to manufacture small products
• Resetting and programming machines when required
• Using laser cutting, grinding, and polishing equipment
• Carrying out quality checks on finished products
• Keeping the working area clean, tidy, and safe
• Training provided to learn machine setting and additional processes
The ideal candidate will:
• Be trained and confident in the use of laser cutting machinery
• Have experience using grinding and polishing machines
• Be able to work accurately and safely
• Have a strong attention to detail and good work ethic
