How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    KS2 Class Teacher – SEN School-August Start 

    An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated KS2 Class Teacher to join a nurturing independent SEN school in Hackney. The school supports pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD, speech and language needs, and social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH).

    This is an ideal opportunity for a creative and compassionate teacher who is committed to inclusive education and making a meaningful difference to young people’s lives.

    The Role The successful candidate will:

    Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for KS2 pupils with SEND
    Create a safe, structured, and supportive classroom environment
    Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and pastoral teams
    Develop personalised learning approaches to meet individual EHCP targets
    Monitor and assess pupil progress effectively
    Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and external professionals
    Promote pupils’ confidence, independence, and emotional wellbeing The Ideal Candidate Applicants should have:

    Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS
    Experience teaching within KS2
    Experience working with pupils with SEND, particularly ASC and SEMH
    Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
    A patient, flexible, and resilient approach
    A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs The School Offers
