Are you a caring, motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity in education?

Tradewind Recruitment is currently working with a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools across St. Helen's & surrounding areas, and we are looking for passionate Teaching Assistants to support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 - particularly those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Whether you are an experienced TA or looking to build on your classroom experience, we want to hear from individuals who are committed to helping children thrive both academically and emotionally.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils and helping create a positive, engaging learning environment.

Your responsibilities may include:

✅ Supporting children during lessons and learning activities
✅ Working 1:1 and in small groups with pupils of varying abilities
✅ Providing tailored SEN support to help pupils reach their full potential
✅ Encouraging confidence, independence and positive behaviour
✅ Assisting teachers with classroom preparation and organisation
✅ Helping to create a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment

✔ Have previous school or childcare experience
✔ Build positive relationships quickly with pupils and staff
✔ Are passionate about supporting children's development and well-being
