How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Manufacturing Engineer

    Kirkaldy

    The Role

    We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support and continuously improve manufacturing operations within a fast‑paced production environment. The role is responsible for manufacturing standards, process operations, industrialisation activities, and process optimisation.

    This position works closely with Operations, Maintenance, and cross‑functional engineering teams to deliver best‑in‑class manufacturing performance.

    Key Responsibilities

    Manufacturing & Process Engineering

    * Support the development and implementation of a world‑class production facility serving global customers.

    * Optimise manufacturing processes to improve productivity, efficiency, and product quality.

    * Identify and control all critical‑to‑quality aspects of manufacturing processes.

    * Develop and maintain a strategy for manufacturing equipment in collaboration with maintenance teams.

    * Identify, justify, and implement equipment upgrades and modifications to improve productivity and quality.

    * Support the justification and implementation of capital investment projects.

    Continuous Improvement

    * Support process optimisation initiatives focused on operational efficiency, cost reduction, and scrap reduction.

    * Participate in cross‑functional Six Sigma projects and implement robust, data‑driven solutions to manufacturing challenges.

    * Maintain relationships with OEMs to stay informed of new manufacturing technologies and best practices.

    Quality & Compliance

    * Effectively manage non‑conforming products, ensuring containment, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.

    * Ensure all manufacturing documentation is accurate, current, and compliant.

    * Promote and maintain safe working practices at all times.

    New Product Introduction

    * Support New Product Development and industrialisation programs, ensuring smooth transition into manufacturing.

    Education & Training

    * Relevant Engineering Qualification

    Experience

    * Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.

    * Experience working in fast‑paced environments with challenging deadlines.
