How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Resident Liaison Officer – Planned Maintenance
    📍 Hackney / Tower Hamlets / Islington
    💼 Long-Term Framework Opportunity

    We are currently recruiting for an experienced Resident Liaison Officer to join a well-established, medium-sized London main contractor delivering a long-term planned maintenance framework for a prominent Housing Association across East and North London.

    This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected contractor with a strong pipeline of secured works and a reputation for delivering high-quality social housing refurbishment projects.

    The Role

    You will act as the key point of contact between residents, site teams, and the client throughout planned maintenance works, ensuring excellent customer service and smooth project delivery.

    Projects will focus primarily on:

    * Kitchen replacements

    * Bathroom upgrades

    * Internal planned maintenance works

    Responsibilities

    * Liaising with tenants before, during, and after works

    * Managing resident expectations and resolving queries/complaints

    * Booking appointments and coordinating access

    * Supporting site teams to ensure works progress efficiently

    * Carrying out resident visits and maintaining accurate records

    * Ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the programme

    Requirements

    * Previous experience as a Resident Liaison Officer within social housing/planned maintenance

    * Experience working on kitchen & bathroom upgrade programmes preferred

    * Strong communication and customer service skills

    * Organised and proactive approach

    * Full UK driving licence

    * Access to your own vehicle
