This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in their craftsmanship, works well under pressure, and can deliver high standards to tight deadlines.
Responsibilities
* Building exhibition stands, display units, and bespoke joinery items
* Reading and working from technical drawings
* Using workshop machinery and hand tools safely and effectively
* Assembly, fitting, and finishing work to a high standard
* Assisting with installations and breakdowns when required
* Maintaining a clean and organised work area
* Ensure all work practices and work areas adhere to Health & Safety legislation at all times
* Supporting the wider team as required
Requirements
* Minimum of 1 year previous carpentry experience ideally in exhibition carpentry
* Effective communication
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
Shift
Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm
Hourly pay rate: £15.75 - £18.00 dependent upon experience
