School Kitchen Assistant – Harlow
We are currently recruiting reliable and hardworking School Kitchen Assistants to support friendly and busy schools across Harlow.
This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced Kitchen Assistants, Catering Assistants, School Catering Staff, or individuals with hospitality and food service experience looking for rewarding work within a school setting.
The successful candidate will support the smooth running of the school kitchen, helping prepare and serve meals while maintaining high hygiene and cleanliness standards.
The Role:
* Assisting with food preparation and meal service
* Serving pupils and staff during breakfast and lunch periods
* Cleaning kitchen equipment, surfaces and dining areas
* Washing dishes, trays and utensils
* Supporting the kitchen team with general catering duties
* Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures at all times
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
* Previous experience as a Kitchen Assistant, Catering Assistant, or within hospitality
* Experience working within schools or busy kitchens desirable
* Food Hygiene Certificate preferred but not essential
* Reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude
* Ability to work well within a team and in a fast-paced environment
