Supply Staff is currently recruiting Science Teachers to support secondary schools across Colchester. We are looking for dedicated Science Teachers who are passionate about delivering engaging lessons and supporting student achievement.
Job Overview:
As a Science Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students develop scientific knowledge and confidence. The successful Science Teacher will plan lessons, assess student progress, and support students preparing for examinations. This Science Teacher role is ideal for a qualified teacher seeking a long-term opportunity within a supportive school.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons as a Science Teacher.
• Assess and monitor student progress in Science.
• Support students preparing for GCSE examinations.
• Work closely with other Science Teacher staff and school leaders.
• Maintain strong classroom behaviour and learning standards.
Requirements:
• QTS, QTLS, or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Science within a secondary school.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Passion for education and student achievement.
