We are currently looking for passionate and dedicated Early Years Practitioner candidates to join our friendly and supportive nursery team. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Early Years Practitioner who is enthusiastic about helping children learn, grow, and thrive in a safe and nurturing environment.
This is a full-time position offering 40 hours per week, ideally worked across 5 days a week, with a salary of up to £31,500 depending on qualifications and experience.
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting children’s development through engaging activities, creative play, and positive interactions. We are seeking both Level 2 and Level 3 qualified individuals who have a genuine passion for childcare and early education.
The successful Early Years Practitioner will be responsible for creating a warm, welcoming, and stimulating environment where every child feels valued and encouraged to reach their full potential. You will work closely with colleagues and parents to ensure children receive the highest standard of care and learning experiences.
Key responsibilities of the Early Years Practitioner role include:
* Supporting children’s learning and development in line with the EYFS framework
* Planning and delivering fun, educational activities
* Building positive relationships with children, parents, and team members
* Ensuring safeguarding and health & safety policies are followed at all times
* Observing, monitoring, and recording children’s progress
* Encouraging independence, creativity, and confidence in every child
To be considered for this Early Years Practitioner position, you must have:
* A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years
* A good understanding of the EYFS framework
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A caring, patient, and enthusiastic attitude
* Previous nursery or childcare experience is desirable
