QTS Primary Teacher

Grade A Recruitment are working with a friendly single form entry primary school in Suffolk, rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, who are looking for a Qualified Primary Teacher to join them from September 2026 on a maternity cover basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate teacher looking for flexibility, as the successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach within EYFS, Reception, Year 1 or Year 2 depending on preference and experience.

The role is expected to last at least one term, with the potential to continue for longer.

Responsibilities:

* Plan and deliver engaging lessons within EYFS or KS1

* Create a positive and supportive classroom environment

* Support pupils’ academic and personal development

* Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning

* Work collaboratively with staff and parents/carers

Requirements:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

* Experience teaching within EYFS, Reception, Year 1 or Year 2

* Strong classroom management skills

* Passion for delivering high-quality teaching

* Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
