What you will be doing:
Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEMH needs.
Support students in managing behaviour and emotions positively.
Work closely with Teachers and other support staff to deliver tailored support strategies.
Encourage participation, independence and personal development.
Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils.
Assist in creating a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment
Monitor and record student progress and behaviours.
The ideal candidate will have:
Hold previous experience working with children with SEMH, SEND or behavioural needs.
A calm, patient and resilient approach.
Strong communication and relationship building skills.
A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable people.
Level 3 Teaching assistant qualification is advantageous, but not essential.
