You will take a leading role in shaping and delivering our Food Technology curriculum, ensuring every learner experiences engaging, challenging and meaningful lessons. Working closely with senior leaders, you’ll help develop new qualification pathways, raise standards across the subject, and ensure Food Technology becomes a vibrant, high‑quality part of our school offer.

What You’ll Be Doing
Leading the planning, delivery and development of Food Technology across the school.
Raising standards of pupil progress and attainment through high‑quality teaching and learning.
Monitoring and supporting Food Technology provision to ensure consistency, challenge and engagement.
Working with SLT to review, evaluate and refine the curriculum, ensuring it meets the needs of all learners.
Developing appropriate sequences of learning for each school pathway.
Introducing and supporting vocational qualification routes for Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 learners.
Delivering enrichment and enhancement activities that bring Food Technology to life.
Communicating subject effectiveness and impact to the Deputy Headteacher and wider SLT.
Modelling professional standards in line with the Professional Standards for Teachers.
Embedding the school’s values to create a nurturing, personalised and holistic learning environment.
