How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job Title:  Maths Teacher
    Location: Trent Acres, Kings Bromley, DE13 7HR
    Hours:      40 hours per week | Monday to Friday | 8.00am – 4.00pm
    Salary:      Up to £42,000 per annum (depending on experience, not pro rata)
    Contract:  Permanent | Term Time Only
    Start:         September 2026

    We are seeking an enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join our dedicated education team, delivering high‑quality, tailored learning experiences that help our students grow academically, socially and emotionally.

    What You’ll Be Doing

    Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated Maths lessons for individuals or small groups in line with the school curriculum.

    Monitor, assess and report on student progress, ensuring personalised learning and steady progression.

    Lead and coordinate Maths across relevant key stages, including planning, assessment and subject development.

    Create a stimulating, well‑organised learning environment that supports numeracy, problem‑solving and confidence.

    Develop and review Individual Education Plans, Behaviour Plans and personalised learning programmes.

    Work collaboratively with LSAs, tutors, instructors and care staff to ensure consistent, high‑quality support.

    Manage challenging behaviour with empathy and structure, helping students develop self‑regulation skills.

    Maintain strong communication with colleagues, care teams and families while upholding safeguarding and regulatory standards.
