Baker Group are pleased to be working alongside our client based in WF10. Due to continued business growth and expansion, we are looking to recruit a Mechanical Fitter
Working Shift Pattern 6am-6pm / 6pm-6am 4 on 4 off rotating Day + Night Shift for example 4 days 6am-6pm then 4 days off then working 4 Night Shift 6pm-6am then 4 days off then back on the day shift 4 days.
Salary - £32,000 - £38k,000 per year depending on experience.
Working to tight deadlines with the ability to identify and resolve any problem asap ensuring production operates to the maximum level with minimum downtime.
What We’re Looking For
* Minimum NVQ Level 3/City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
* Previous experience as a Plant Fitter or similar mechanical role
* Strong knowledge of plant machinery maintenance and repair
* Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues efficiently
* Good attention to detail and commitment to safety
* Supervisory experience or experience of managing external contractors.
* Experience of maintaining conveyors, 306 Grabs, loading buckets
* Experience of shredders would be advantageous
* Knowledge of relevant Health and Safety Legislation.
* Intermediate standard of IT skills and competent use of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Good communication skills.
