How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    About the role

    As a Mental Health Support Worker, you’ll provide person-centred, trauma-informed support that empowers individuals to:

    * Live independently and manage their tenancy

    * Improve daily living skills such as budgeting and self-care

    * Build confidence and make informed life choices

    * Maintain wellbeing and positive routines

    You’ll work closely with families, social workers, and external agencies while ensuring safe, high-quality care.

    What you’ll do

    * Deliver tailored, face-to-face mental health support

    * Support individuals with tenancy management and daily living skills

    * Promote independence, wellbeing, and recovery journeys

    * Complete risk assessments and support plans

    * Administer medication and follow safeguarding procedures

    * Maintain accurate records using IT systems

    About the service

    The service offers supported living for up to 2–4 years, helping people build the skills and confidence to move on. We also provide outreach support to individuals living in their own homes in and around Mansfield.

    This is a 24-hour service, operating 7 days a week. Shifts include:

    * 7:00am – 2:30pm

    * 2:30pm – 10:00pm

    * 10:00pm – 7:00am

    Weekend availability is essential. The project is accessible via public transport, but you’ll need to be able to get to the site for early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
