A well-established SME in Knowsley are seeking a Production Finishing Operative (End of Line) to join their team. On offer is an hourly rate of £13.30, with full-time daytime hours Monday to Friday. This role is initially offered on a temporary basis with the potential to become permanent, so please only apply if you are seeking ongoing work with possible long-term opportunity. Full training is provided; however, experience within a manufacturing or production environment is advantageous.
Responsibilities:
Carrying out final stage production tasks, including fitting caps
Applying labels accurately and ensuring correct product identification
Performing quality checks to ensure all finished products meet required standards
Checking components for defects, accuracy, and consistency before dispatch
Ensuring correct completion of job cards, labels, and production documentation
Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe working area at all times
Working as part of the production team to meet daily targets and workflow
Reporting any issues, defects, or inconsistencies to supervision
Supporting the smooth flow of products through the end-of-line process
Assisting with continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives where appropriate
Carrying out other related duties as assignedRequirements:
Previous experience in manufacturing, production, or assembly environment
Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality checking and accuracy
Reliable with a strong work ethic and a can-do attitude
Ability to work well as part of a team
