How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career within Health, Safety and Environmental management while gaining hands-on experience within a supportive and fast-paced environment.

They are also happy to support candidates through further qualifications including NEBOSH, Health & Safety and Environmental training courses.

    The Opportunity:

    As a Junior HSE Coordinator you’ll play a key role in:

    Supporting day-to-day Health, Safety and Environmental activities across the site
    Assisting with risk assessments, audits and workplace inspections
    Helping managers and teams identify hazards and implement safe working practices
    Supporting accident, incident and near miss investigations
    Promoting a positive Health & Safety culture across the business
    Assisting with the coordination of emergency procedures, site surveys and compliance activities
    Supporting the ongoing development of HSE systems, procedures and best practice standards Your work as a Junior HSE Coordinator will directly contribute to maintaining a safe, compliant and positive working environment for all employees while supporting a business committed to continuous improvement and investment.

    About You:

    We’re looking for someone who can bring:

    An interest in developing a career within Health, Safety & Environment
    IOSH certification or candidates who have achieved or started studying towards a NEBOSH qualification
    Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
    A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
    Good organisation and attention to detail
    Experience within manufacturing, warehouse/logistics or FMCG environments would be beneficial but is not essential
    A full UK driving licence is essential due to the nature of the role and site requirements The Benefits and Package:
