How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    KS2 Teacher - Chester Area

    Location: Chester area
    Start Date: September 2026
    Contract Type: Part-time (3 days per week) (other Full-Time roles available)
    Contract Length: Fixed-term initially, with potential for a permanent opportunity
    Salary: MPS dependent on experience

    A welcoming and community-focused primary school in the Chester area is seeking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to join their dedicated team from September 2026.

    This opportunity would suit a passionate teacher who enjoys working within a smaller school environment and is committed to delivering engaging, high-quality teaching across Key Stage 2 in the Chester area. The role will involve teaching within upper KS2 classes, alongside some flexibility to support learning across other junior year groups where required.

    The school prides itself on creating a nurturing and inclusive environment where children are encouraged to develop confidence, resilience, and a love of learning.

    The Role

    The successful KS2 Teacher candidate will:

    Deliver engaging and effective lessons across Key Stage 2
    Plan, assess, and adapt learning to meet the needs of all pupils

    Use strong behaviour management strategies to support learning
    Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and colleagues
    Contribute positively to wider school life and enrichment opportunities

    Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
    Have recent experience as a KS2 Teacher
    Demonstrate strong classroom practice and subject knowledge
