Academics have been approached by a well-respected secondary school in Canterbury who are seeking a Teacher of Geography. This role is starting in the new academic year and the successful applicant will be offered a permanent contract.
The school are seeking to appoint an ambitious, talented and inspiring classroom practitioner to teach Geography across all ability groups in KS3 and 4.
What you'll need to succeed:
Be a qualified Teacher (QTS - PGCE, B.Ed, GTP)
Be experienced in planning an appropriate and challenging curriculum
Have a thorough knowledge of present curriculum developments, particularly those relating to Geography.
Be an inspiring teacher with real enthusiasm for the subject
Be able to motivate their students
Be committed to high standards for both staff and students
Be prepared to contribute to the extra-curricular life of the school
