We are seeking enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools across the Portsmouth area. Demand for Cover Supervisors is continuing to rise, making this an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers or experienced support staff looking for flexible or long-term work.
You’ll help maintain continuity of learning while gaining hands-on classroom experience across a range of subjects.

What You’ll Be Doing:
• Supervising lessons using pre-prepared work
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively
• Supporting pupils to stay engaged and focused
• Delivering instructions clearly and confidently
• Building positive relationships with students and staff
• Providing classroom support across multiple subjects
• Upholding safeguarding and behaviour policies
What We’re Looking For:
• Degree or experience working with young people preferred
• Confident classroom presence
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Calm and professional approach
• Adaptable and proactive attitude
• Passion for education and student development
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
