Reporting into the Project Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for operations and running of the site overseeing the installation of baggage handling systems and integration.
You will be responsible for the following:
Installation of conveyors (baggage handling) with some small structure
Mechanical and electrical, planning of scaffolding - civils
Planning of logistics
Organising, planning workforce
Giving instructions to skilled engineers and operatives.
RAMs – ensuring systems are working properly
H&S on site
Isolation procedures on site and payment to work systems
Integrate with the client on a daily and weekly basis
Chair meetings, work alongside contractors
Report and record data
Toolbox talks, briefs, progress meetings
Update and upgrade on systems
The candidate must possess the following skills and qualifications:
Conveyors / mechanical handling equipment experience
Site management experience in an airport environment
Experience of managing multiple operatives
Client facing experience
SMSTS
CSCS Black card
IOSH, NEBOSH
