The college is seeking a passionate and supportive Foundation Learning Lecturer with experience in Animal Care to join their dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging Foundation Learning and Animal Care sessions to students with additional learning needs
Develop learning support programmes and teaching materials tailored to individual student requirements
Assess learners’ initial support needs and monitor ongoing progress
Supervise and support a team of Learning Support Assistants
Arrange and coordinate appropriate exam access arrangements and additional support
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that motivates learners and supports achievement
What do you need?

A minimum of Grade C / 4 in GCSE Maths and English Language (or equivalent)
Experience working in a similar Foundation Learning or SEND-focused role
Experience supporting learners with additional needs
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience working with post-16 learners
Evidence of successful classroom practice that motivates and engages students
